Eggheads Music Competition Came to a Climax

The Music Club of Eggheads International School organized a three-week Music competition which came to an end on Tuesday 3rd August, 2021. The competition was held in a colorful atmosphere with the crème de la crème of Eggheads Music Club in attendance. The event was chaired by the Vice Principal of the school Mr Meshack Anugwa who was joined at the high table by Mrs Folashade Nabe and Mr Ifeanyichukwu Agha. The judges for the day were Mrs Olofintuyi Christian, Mr John Friday and Miss Beloveth E. Edem. The school’s Music teacher, Mr Gospel Friday, served as the moderator of the competition.

In his opening speech, the chairman of the occasion, Mr Anugwa, applauded the idea of a music competition for the school. He, however, encouraged the students to take the competition beyond the shores of Eggheads International School, Port Harcourt. In her remark, the Administrator of the school, Miss Edem stated that the competition was borne out of the idea to encourage series of competitions in the school. She advised the other clubs in the school to be ready with their competitions.

At the end of the keenly completed events, which was on inter-class basis, Senior Secondary School One took first position. Senior Secondary Two second, while, Junior Secondary School three took third position. To add glamour to the event, all the classes that qualified for the final where handsomely rewarded. They received prizes according to their position with Senior secondary School One carting away the grand prize.
